What I Stand For
Modernizing Government
In the past three years, I’ve put a lot of long overdue improvements in place for our Town to bring us up to date. It is important to keep our beautiful rural town secure and current. I will continue to work on contemporizing our infrastructure in all areas for our own safety and to maintain our quality of living. This means continuing to add on-line transactional options for our residents, security at town properties and making sure our staff from the Highway Department to every department at Town Hall is modern and protected. It also means continuing our work to update codes for the first time in 15 years and, we hope next, updating our comprehensive plan, which was last updated in 2005. Status quo is not a productive government principle.

Continuing to Build Community and a Sense of Belonging for Those Who Live in the TOG
Our “TOG: Better TOGether” efforts have energized our community about living in the TOG and supporting our local businesses. We want to continue in this direction with community wide events that promote our businesses.
Continuing to Share More with Our Public
Residents should know and understand what is happening in our local government. It is how we continue to involve residents and keep their best interests in the forefront. Our electronic media (social, web, email) and print communications (newsletter) are more robust than ever and I believe our residents deserve that.

Using Our Resources Creatively While Maintaining Our Cost of Living
We have actively pursued grants and new programs to better the lives of our residents and offer them more town services and we will continue to do so, without major tax increases. We have found ways to cut waste and better allocate dollars towards park improvements, more programming, more equipment all while making our employees’ salaries more competitive in comparison to the rest of Saratoga County.
